The Sequel is a Prequel

Barnstormin’ with the Babe--a fiction book in production--is a ‘back-in-time’ story in which the central character interacts with or observes Babe Ruth during barnstorming moments in 1927, 1925 and even as far back as 1919. This story also includes chunks of historical information woven into the fantastic narrative that shows glimpses of such baseball people of the time as Lou Gehrig, Miller Huggins, Leo Durocher, “Lefty” O’Doul, and “Buck” Weaver.

Plus, it features entertainers and other notable personalities of the day including: Harpo Marx, “Texas” Guinan, Nikola Tesla, Philo Farnsworth, Guglielmo Marconi, Margaret Mitchell and Gutzon Borglum.

Barnstormin’ also features the episode leading up to Babe Ruth’s famous “bellyache heard ‘round the world” in 1925 and Zeltac’s involvement in this tragic moment in the Bambino’s storied career.

Barnstormin’ with the Babe is the long-awaited prequel to author R. A. Cabral’s novel, The Pitch. To get on the list for the future release date or to read a sample chapter--send your email address to: RAC26 @
